Certified Occupational Safety Specialist
The program consists of 40 hours of hands on, face-to-face learning, which is
delivered by a COSS certified safety instructor. Case studies and workshops are
used extensively to bring learning objectives into focus. Guest speakers from
areas such as OSHA and other governmental agencies, are used to enhance the
learning experience. Student presentations, daily quizzes, practical reviews
and a comprehensive final exam will allow you to demonstrate your competency.
The COSS course is offered at over 13 locations nationwide. Each location
sets their own pricing schedule, but the price for our Baton Rouge class is
$1699 for our members and $2199 for non-members. For a limited time, the
Houston Area class is being offered for the regular member price and the reduced
non-member price of $1899.
